The Football Focus School of Excellence
The Football Focus soccer academy, the School of Excellence, brings players of similar ability together in age grouped squads focusing on individual soccer skills progression in pursuit of individual excellence.
The School of Excellence facilitates junior soccer progression through a specialized professional coaching team to ensure all players achieve their personal best. Players advance from Development Squads to Professional Squads, culminating in the invitation only Elite Squads. The junior soccer program is further enriched with specialized Girls Only and Goal Keeper Squads.
Holiday excellence programs challenge serious players to progress through a structured, measured skills based program during school holidays. Skills testing, delivered through an internationally recognized program, benchmarks player technical proficiency against the top percentile of children tested worldwide.
School holiday soccer clinics enable players of all abilities to progress in a friendly fun environment.
It is our intention to build a School of Excellence that enables us to test ourselves against other organizations locally, interstate and overseas. Players who demonstrate the right attitude and ability will be invited to trial in Europe.
NEW Customised direction for 2010
Football Focus' academy offers age specific specialised direction during 2010 for 12 - 14 year olds.
The program based syllabus covers specific game elements in six week blocks; groups capped at 12 players, training one hour per week:
Attacking / forward play
Midfield / creative play
Defensive play
Goal keepers
