Elite Squad Triumph Again
The Elite Squad travelled to Sydney on 9th January 2008 for an interstate tournament at Valentine Park, home of Football Federation NSW. The only visiting team, battling against the heat, the team put in a first class effort showing their true passion, commitment and desire to achieve to triumph victorious over the four local teams.
With an inspiring winning start to the season the thirteen travelling squad members also had time to relax in the pool, bond with their team mates and see some of the sights of Sydney. The icing on the cake for 7 players was meeting the entire Sydney FC team at the airport, with the opportunity to proudly display their trophy and medals to football heroes including the Sydney FC marquee player, Juninho.
