Under the expert direction of Ray Dixon 'On the Ball' is a basic skills and small sided games soccer coaching program for boys and girls, 5-8 years old. The program will run at Pasadena High School on Saturday mornings, 9am - 10.30am. 8 week blocks during term time.

Summer holiday program

Summer holiday program registrations now open. Holiday clinics in December and January focus on developing skills through a wide variety of fun activities; suitable for all abilities, players aged 8-14 years. The January School of Excellence is specifically for club players aged 10-16; focus will be on both technical and tactical aspects of the game through theory and practical activities.

2010 Academy registrations now open

Next year will be an exciting year for the Football Focus Academy. The coaching syllabus and an unrivaled coaching team are in place. Assessment reports for all players plus the introduction of performance diaries for the Elite Squad.

Improved facilities for 2010

Our Southern Academy will train at improved facilities for the 2010 season. Benefits include better lighting during the winter months. Training will be at Waite Oval, corner of Claremont Avenue and Fullarton Road (near Mercedes College).

Royal Adelaide Show resounding success

The Football Focus stand was very busy across the nine days with players looking for high caliber academy or out of season training and pitch enquiries. On display at the show was a new line of Football Focus casual wear, at reasonable prices. There were heaps of hopeful competition entries but can be only one winner...

Second successive year of coaching at Scotch College...

Over 40 reception and year one children are enrolled in this years soccer coaching program at Scotch College. Running for the second successive year, this program is designed to introduce basic technical skills through fun activities and small sided games in a friendly but structured environment. Implementing the same principles as our On the Ball program but in a familiar environment.

Successful On the Ball will continue

The inaugural On the Ball program was such a success that over 50% of participants asked to continue through terms 2 and 3.
